Collecting antique, sealed, cylindrical wine bottles
New book being researched.
I am now working on a book covering sealed cylindrical bottles. I already have a database of over 600 sealed, cylindrical bottles and many other detached seals. I have detailed provenance for many of these bottles. I already have illustrations for more than 60 bottles from museums, auctions and my own collection.
Anybody who has a bottle they would like to be included in the book please contact me. I am currently working on armorial sealed bottles and would particularly like to hear from anybody who has bottles bearing coats of arms, also bottles bearing crests and coronets.
Please also contact me with the details of any other sealed cylindrical bottles. In the event of duplication the first report received will be acknowledged in the book.
